About Sturdy
Sturdy (sturdy.finance) is a DeFi lending protocol on EVM. By using a novel two-tier architecture, Sturdy is able to isolate risk without fragmenting liquidity. Sturdy owns a Bittensor subnet, SN10, that is used to automatically optimize yields across pools. Sturdy was founded in 2022 and is backed by leading venture capital firms like Pantera and Y Combinator.
About the role
Sturdy is looking for a full-time smart contract engineer to join the team. The position is remote, but overlap with Eastern Time or Pacific Time is preferred. The engineer will be responsible for:
- Deploying the Sturdy protocol on new EVM chains
- Integrating assets into the Sturdy protocol
- Creating strategy vaults controlled by Sturdy’s Bittensor subnet
- Evaluating the security of and testing new features
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Several years of experience writing production-ready Solidity smart contracts
- Written contracts that held sizeable TVL and underwent multiple audits
- Experience with development frameworks like Hardhat
- ​​Great communication skills in a remote setting
