QuinStreet is looking to hire a Senior Product Manager for our Personal Loans category that will carry the torch between the PL business team and QS product and marketplace teams. You will work on a diverse set of projects ranging from risk mitigation to client coverage issues to yield optimization to media quality that will directly contribute to business P&L. This role is heavily focused on bridging the gap between the tech, business, creative, and analytics teams. You will have full autonomy and work directly with our VP of Product and Marketplace Operations and GM of our Personal Loans business. We are looking for someone hungry to prove themselves and accomplish the goals the team has laid out.
Responsibilities
- The success of technical projects live or die with this person. You are eager and willing to evaluate ALL business requests and be the main conduit and first line of defense between business and tech.
- Product management, product road mapping, prioritization, product requirements, and a focus on development to deliver products on time.
- Manage multiple technical projects including scoping, planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Work closely with development and business teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, and to the satisfaction of the stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
- Ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide project status updates and manage expectations.
- Collaborate with the product management team to ensure that technical projects align with the company's goals and strategy.
- Help debug issues and corral the right teams together to troubleshoot and develop short- and long-term solutions.
- Hold technical teams responsible to delivering on agreed upon commitments (across our customer experiences (forms and flows), platforms (product APIs, ad matching engine, category engineering, call center, remarketing, QuinStreet's Media Platform), algorithms, & reporting,
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in FinTech digital marketing space.
- Great communicator. You can act as a technical translator of business needs to QS product and marketplace teams (and vice versa)
- Strong technical background with the capability and desire to understand how our backend infrastructure all ties together.
- Experience with web technologies, software development, and product management methodologies.
- Analytically capable of going through data and synthesizing information in the form of recommendations.
- Detail and process oriented. You love to build flow charts and obsess over best practices.

The expected salary range for this position is $105,000 USD to $148,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
