Senior Analyst, North America, Social ImpactOverview:
The Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth advances equitable and sustainable economic growth and financial inclusion around the world. The Center leverages the company’s core assets and competencies, including data insights, expertise and technology, while administering the philanthropic Mastercard Impact Fund to produce independent research, scale global programs and empower a community of thinkers, leaders and doers on the front lines of inclusive growth.
The Senior Analyst, North America (NAM), Social Impact is responsible for supporting the NAM team with project management and programmatic activities with an emphasis on our small business program, Strive USA. S/he will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to use insights, data and research to further social impact. This includes helping to support our grantees, engage with internal stakeholders and conduct research and analysis to further the strategic pillars of the NAM portfolio. This Senior Analyst position reports to the Vice President, Social Impact for North America.
Role:
• Provide project management support for the NAM team
• Establish relationships across the organization to facilitate collaboration and information sharing
• Facilitate data collection and analysis, and reporting and communications of trends and key topics for NAM including visualization of data and insights
• Conduct informational research including data analysis on community and economic development issues including helping to identify potential partners that are relevant to our social impact work
• Manage ad hoc initiatives in support of cross-functional workstreams internally and externally
• Provide general administrative support as needed
• Assist with the execution of program measurement, evaluation and learning (MEL) plan

•Demonstrated project management and execution skills with strong ability to manage deliverables and deadlines for multiple initiatives and teams
•Proven skills in relationship management and managing multiple stakeholders with professionalism and maturity
•Experience responding to routine and complex inquiries in a complete and timely manner
•Superior written and oral communications skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization
•Understanding of the relationship between business and community needs, key influencers, policy makers, non-profit leaders and others
•Curiosity in how we aim to create an inclusive and sustainable economy through our social impact efforts
•Experience in financial services via fintech, traditional banking, community development financial institutions or payment services.
•Experience working with low income and/or BIPOC communities on economic development and/or small business efforts or direct experience as an entrepreneur

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
