Sales Development Representative

Job Description
As a Sales Development Representative at Convera, you will support our Business-to-Business sales team in winning new clients within the International Payments / Foreign Exchange / FX space.
**Responsibilities: **
- Develop deep understanding of Convera’s value proposition
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as revenue and appointment setting targets, and report them on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Work closely with the Senior BDMs, Industry leads, and Sales Leaders to create appointments with new & existing prospects
- Confidence to make outbound calls to identify, contract, and qualify new business opportunities and arrange face to face and/or Zoom meetings with them and Senior BDMs
- Use sales enablement tools, such as Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, and Highspot to generate new business prospects
- Manage the sales lead allocation pipeline to the sales team on a daily basis
- Use commercial awareness to identify, articulate, and provide appropriate products or services of new prospects that solve the problems they face when making/receiving overseas payments
Qualifications:
- Sales industry experience, ideally used to making outbound calls to generate new sales opportunities
- Strong organizational and effective time management skills
- Active listening, strong written and verbal communication skills, such as a professional telephone manner
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to attain Level 3 CISI Certificate (i.e., Introduction to securities and investments) within 6 months of hire
**Preferred qualifications: **
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Experience within Microsoft Office Suite and sales tools such as Salesforce and Highspot would be advantageous
