Job Summary
The Product Manager is responsible for the product evolution of the Allvue Credit solution utilized by the Public Debt segments. The main objective of this role is to maximize the sales and market share of the product line. This is expected to be achieved by regular contact with customers and prospects to understand their needs, prioritizing tasks to be delivered according to the roadmap and communicating with the engineering team to ensure the product is delivered on time, with high quality and according to customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of customer segment, knowing customer needs through research and market data
- Exceptional knowledge of the investment lifecycle process for capital markets from origination of an investment to analysis, due diligence, approval, funding, and post close monitoring.
- Familiarity with the broader loans and banking markets and how those strategies play a role across the investment landscape on the buy and sell side
- Ability to work with other members of Credit and Equity product teams to prioritize features across products to enhance the overall Allvue product
- Assess and analyze competitive products in the investment banking space and understand where our products add value
- Develop product lines and appraise new ideas for market viability
- Assess and analyze competitive credit products
- Prioritization of milestones and tasks with engineering team(s)
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in finance or financial technology
- Exceptional listening skills, attention to detail, and clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to distill and translate advanced financial and technical topics into easily communicable business concepts for execution by our Engineering team.
- A self-starter personality is a must; comfort with ambiguity and ability to add value and drive product development in rapidly changing environments.
- Fluency in financial jargon and ability to communicate effectively with business users.

- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline

- The target compensation for this role is specific to the US. Your estimated compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, licensures and/or certifications and the local market. The estimated range for the role is $130,000 - $211,000 plus a discretionary year end performance based bonus.
