Introduction to the role
We're seeking a dedicated Product Manager to drive strategic product initiatives, focusing on user-centric discovery, validation, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will lead the discovery, definition, support the delivery of initiatives by validating ideas through user feedback and data-driven insights.
Knowledge on security, back office data, trading, over-the-counter (OTC), services, DeFi, Options and other company’s related fields is highly advantageous but not a must.
Core responsibilities:
- Lead the product discovery and definition process for a cross-functional squad consisting of engineers, data engineers, QA specialists, data intelligence analysts, and tech support personnel.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify market opportunities, gather requirements, and prioritize features for development.
- Drive the strategic direction of product deliverables, focusing on validating customer needs and prioritizing features to align with business goals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and identify areas for innovation.
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate validated product requirements into actionable user stories, focusing on strategic product management rather than delivery tasks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and user feedback to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously iterate on the product based on user feedback, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Previous experience needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field;
- 3+ years of experience in product management roles, with a proven track record of delivering successful products in the fintech, cryptocurrency, or related sectors.
- Understanding of trading technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), and blockchain concepts.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative working environment.
- Familiarity and experience with trading, back office, OTC, security or similar is a plus.
