This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and extensive software development and operations knowledge.
You will lead a team of DevOps engineers, develop and implement DevOps processes and practices, collaborate with the development team, work with security teams, and provide technical leadership.
This role is hybrid, requiring your presence in our Warsaw or Berlin office for approximately two days per week. Full-time commitment is essential, as your involvement will be pivotal in driving forward our ambitious projects.

We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Leader to guide our small team in improving processes and ensuring deployment stability and scalability. You’ll implement the right observability tools, making sure we’re always the first to know about issues and can address them before clients are impacted. Your passion for keeping everything organized and under control will drive success.
Key Responsibility:
- You won’t be asked to set notification channels—you’ll take the initiative to ensure the right people are alerted.
- Set standards for our deployments ensuring stability, observability and notification channels.
- Supervise deployment environments ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure HA and proper routing / load balancing for multi-region deployments.
- Support engineers while deploying their applications.
- Automate deployment processes.
- Manage permissions.
- Mentor DevOps engineers.
We want a leader, not a manager. You will mentor and work closely with the team, setting new standards and leading by example through hands-on work.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in DevOps or related field.
- Experience in Principal/Staff/Lead position.
- Good experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, etc.) and services (Datadog, Newrelic, etc.)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Heavy automation domain knowledge and experience with IaaC tools (Terraform, Terragrunt).
- Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and related technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong experience with the AWS Cloud platform (EC2, EKS, ECR, Route53, RDS, etc.).
- Proficient knowledge of networking and hybrid cloud concepts.
- Experience in scripting (Bash, Python, Javascript ).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
