firefly is a DEX with ‘CEX-like features’ such as limit orders to buy at pre-defined prices and take-profit sell orders to exit a position when a certain profit’s been reached.

About the Role

We’re looking for a full-stack engineer to lead our development & maintenance of our DEX platform, as well as help in related areas such as: subgraphs, routing API, corporate site.

What we’re looking for…

• Development Experience: Prior experience building frontend and backend solutions in crypto-native projects deployed on an EVM mainnet.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years as a full stack developer. Extensive experience in Typescript and React is required; experience in Solidity, Python or bash is a plus.
• Communication: strong written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals, the EVM, and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols.
• Leadership: you will be managing and coordinating the work of other engineers and contractors.
• Product-minded: in a startup, we expect our Lead Eng. to play a constructive role in defining the product and ensuring requirements are complete
• Passion for Crypto: whether it’s building, investing, yield farming, minting, voting, or other activities, your enthusiasm for the crypto space is evident.
• Mindset: a proactive, can-do attitude, ready to tackle challenges head-on in a startup environment.
