About the role: 

Crypto on-chain analystWe are seeking a talented and driven crypto on-chain analyst to join our team at Cryptonary. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our investment research, diving deep into on-chain activity to uncover valuable insights and trends. Your analysis will directly influence our investment strategies and provide our community with actionable insights to optimise their portfolios.

• Key responsibilitiesData analysis: Leverage the highest-tier on-chain data sources and subscriptions to assess blockchain activity, identifying trends, anomalies, and patterns that could impact investment decisions and present opportunities.
• Market hypotheses: Formulate and communicate market hypotheses based on your comprehensive on-chain analysis, providing clear, data-backed insights into market movements and potential opportunities.
• Data visualisation: Extract insights from key metrics and indicators, develop new charts and visualisations, and create intuitive dashboards to present your findings.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our research and investment team to refine investment strategies, contributing to the overall performance of our investment portfolio.
• Reporting: Produce in-depth, well-structured reports that clearly articulate your findings to help our members position their portfolios for success.
• RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 1+ years in on-chain analysis or 2+ years in a crypto research role.
• Passion: A deep passion for exploring blockchain data and uncovering the stories it tells.
• Technical proficiency: Strong proficiency in using analytics tools and platforms to gather, interpret, and visualise data.
• Crypto & blockchain knowledge: Extensive understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and Web3 innovations, with a focus on factors affecting scalability, adoption, and market trends.
• Communication skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex analyses in a clear and concise manner.
• Coding Skills: A working knowledge of Python or other programming language will be an advantage.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred. Advanced degrees or certifications in finance, blockchain, or cryptocurrency are a plus.
• Ideal candidate profileSelf-motivated: Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
• Analytical thinker: Strong analytical and financial analysis skills, with a keen ability to evaluate, critique, and refine ideas and data. Comfort in challenging established viewpoints is essential.
