We are now recruiting the founding members in Singapore. Your mission is to harness your passion for the technology, content, and services to deliver groundbreaking excitement and entertainment. - Crypto Knowledge: Possess a basic understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain. While deep Web3 knowledge is not required, a balanced understanding of both Web2 and Web3 environments is essential.
- System Design Thinking: Approach problem-solving with a “what if” mindset. Understand the core principles of blockchain technology and design features that integrate seamlessly with real-world applications.
- Customer-First Approach: Always prioritize the customer’s perspective when addressing issues, ensuring that solutions are practical and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:
Generating new business, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth
- Lead generation and prospecting, by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
- Develop sales strategy and execution, to achieve revenue targets, creating sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Build strong relationship with client and manage sales process cycle, from initial contact to closing the deal.
Implementation of Web3 Strategy within the Region:
- As an early founding member, implement non-Japan business models with a focus on Asia.
- Develop hypotheses and validate market entry through research on Blockchain/Web3 in the local region.
- Define value propositions to customers/partner companies based on an understanding of our group’s assets.
Strategic Formulation and Execution of Business Models:
- Experiment with business hypotheses and acquire initial customers.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Japan (including JV partners) and establish partnerships, including external alliances.
- Formulate and implement project/business plans.
- Consulting sales of Web 3 products/services under development in Sony to business clients within the region.
Reporting Line:
- Report to the Managing Director or Head of Business Development in the Singapore office.
- No staff reporting to this position initially as the organization is small.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in developing and implementing sales strategies, understanding customer needs, and closing deals.
- Experience in business development within the technology sector.
- Strong ability in business model conceptualization.
- Experience in Web3/Crypto (Business experience is preferred. However, individual experience in using blockchain and cryptocurrencies is also acceptable).
- Experience in developing and establishing global businesses, including customer acquisition through sales consulting, and sourcing partners to meet customers’ requirements.
- Understanding of the business logic and decision-making process of large corporations.
- Experience in solving management challenges by taking initiative and involving others in an uncertain business environment.
- Proficiency in communication in English, including the ability to understand customer needs, make business proposals, and negotiate effectively.
Desirable Conditions:
- Work experience in Southeast Asia.
- Understanding of the business models in the Web2 industry.
- Connections with the blockchain/web3 community.

Location:
- Singapore (The office in the Bugis commercial district).
