What's the role about
Paysend is looking for an experienced and passionate Business Development Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing high-quality leads for our cross-border payments solution. This is a critical position that will play a key part in driving new business and revenue growth for the company.
What you’ll be doing
- Conduct market research to identify prospective customers in the B2B fintech industry
- Develop and execute multi-channel lead generation campaigns using tactics such as email outreach, social media, content marketing, events, and more
- Qualify and score leads based on predefined criteria to ensure the sales team is focused on the most promising opportunities
- Nurture leads through the pipeline using personalized messaging and follow-up touchpoints
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on target accounts, messaging, and campaign strategies
- Utilize CRM software and lead management tools to track, analyze, and optimize lead generation efforts
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation targets and KPIs
What you’ll need to be successful in the role
- 2+ years of business development experience in the B2B fintech or SaaS industry
- Proven track record of building successful partnerships and driving revenue growth.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile and collaborative environment with experience managing and supporting customers in a technology driven environment and the ability to interact with enterprise customer teams at various levels of technical and non-technical depth.
- Self-starter willing to take initiative and work independently while being remote with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a cross functional environment, willing to learn and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
