About the Role

As a Blockchain Business Analyst on the Operations team, you will support various functions necessary for the company’s Digital Asset Custody, Settlement, and Trading operations. This role combines operational responsibilities, research, and data analysis. Your work will be showcased in reporting, documentation, and organizational tasks. You will report to the Senior Product Manager.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Technology and the Blockchain Product Owner to document solutions for upcoming blockchain changes, including business-facing documentation and release notes.
• Contribute to product development, ensuring insights align with business objectives.
• Monitor and report on available token claims in a timely manner.
• Track upcoming blockchain forks, assess their significance, and communicate potential business impact.
• Follow official communication channels for all blockchain and Digital Asset Securities (DAS) supported by Prometheum.
• Verify that third-party services remain compatible with blockchain upgrades.
• Seek clarification from affected DAS issuers unless official notifications have been provided.
• Assist the internal DAS Review Committee.
• Produce and submit corporate action (airdrop/fork) notifications to Prometheum vendors.
• Reconcile internal records with blockchain data and prepare reconciliations for Operations staff.
• Provide weekly internal audit reports.
• Monitor internal systems for alerts.
• Ensure alignment between the business and its vendors regarding holiday observance.

Qualifications

• Cryptocurrency Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, including blockchain technology, DeFi, NFTs, and tokenomics.
• Data Analytics and Modeling: Strong quantitative analysis skills with experience in building models.
• Technical Writing: Ability to write detailed reports, market updates, and translate research findings effectively.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Blockchain Knowledge: Good understanding of the Ethereum blockchain.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Operational Experience: Experience supporting Operations/Finance teams is a plus.
