Middesk’s mission is to make it easier for businesses to work together through building the best-in-class business identity platform. Our APIs allow B2B companies to access the information, insights, and documentation they need to onboard and transact with their customers. Our products help product, risk, and finance teams make informed regulatory compliance and commercial credit decisions, confirm that suppliers meet federal and state licensing requirements, and register their customers with the necessary government agencies.
The Role
Middesk is looking for a motivated and results-oriented professional with business acumen, technical aptitude and sales instincts to join our competitive Sales organization as an Account Executive.
As a member of the growing Sales Team, you will help us execute, iterate, and evolve our GTM strategy and approach. While the focus will be on direct sales, you will also work cross-functionally with all teams at Middesk to enhance our understanding of customers, their value, and product needs.
Your primary responsibility will be to uncover and qualify new opportunities within Middesk’s target market, focusing on the banking, lending, fintech and payments verticals. Your success will be measured by your ability to close new business and expand existing customers, generate a strong pipeline, and ability to collaborate internally across solutions engineering, product and revenue operations,

What You'll Do:
- Play a pivotal role in acquiring significant deals and logos within our key GTM segments, directly driving our market expansion.
- Have a substantial impact on Middesk's growth trajectory, helping us scale and achieve our ambitious goals.
- Act as a crucial link between GTM, operations, and product/engineering teams. Your insights will directly shape our product development strategy, ensuring it meets market needs and customer expectations.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience successfully closing software sales or navigating other complex sales processes, with a track record that speaks to your ability to exceed revenue targets.
- You're adept at outbound sales strategies, understanding how to identify and engage potential customers proactively.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical stakeholders, translating complex product features into clear benefits.
- You exhibit a strong sense of ownership and an entrepreneurial spirit, taking initiative and consistently seeking ways to improve.
- You thrive in a startup environment, adaptable to its fast pace and evolving nature, and you're focused on solving business challenges through innovative thinking.
- Your drive to learn and improve is relentless, always seeking to expand your knowledge and skills.
- You're located in the NYC area and value the dynamics of in-person collaboration. As part of a hybrid company, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds, working in-office 2-3 days a week and having the flexibility to work remotely otherwise.
